Write a Prompt

General Tips
Clarity and Precision
Describe the desired style of your art (cartoon illustration, pixellated, sketch).
Include core elements (subject, colors, background).
If there is text included, write exact text and watch for misspelled words.
When generating cartoon characters, please check with your company’s legal team for any potential liability before using.
Tone
Aim for a descriptive tone with your prompts.
Avoid command words such as “add”, “create”, “transform”, “change”.
Be repetitive! Use repetition to reinforce details that may be missed.

We recommend prompts at least 5 words long. Describe exactly what you would like to see.

Style Comparison

Raspberry AI’s default is to create photoreal images. Include the words “cartoon”, “illustration”, “sketch”, or “embroidery” to be sure the outputs are not photoreal.

Adding descriptive words will help create different styles of artwork. See comparisons below. We will start with the prompt:

“An astronaut sitting on a crescent moon, fishing for stars, with a colorful nebula swirling in the background”.

Format 1: Focus on outfit
What if we add the word “illustration”?
We can also be specific about the style of artwork.
I can also quickly create an embroidered version of my prompt.
If I want the image to be more cartoon-ish with exaggerated features, I can include the word cartoon in my prompt.
We can create black and white artwork by simply noting the color in the prompt.
With only a few tweaks to the original prompt, we can create countless iterations.

Add a Reference Image

Upload Reference Image

Adding reference images is optional. Raspberry AI will use the image as a guide to create the outputs.

Adjust the Similarity slider so the image isn’t simply duplicated.

Uploading a reference image

Similarity Influence: How much the reference image impacts your generated results; increasing this parameter means that the reference image will have a bigger influence on the design.

Describe Image

You can click Describe Image to get a description of the product, or write your own prompt.

More Tips

General Tips
Get detailed! When describing any aspect of your scene, add in as much detail as you want to get closer to your vision.
Be repetitive! You can add the same detail to your prompt multiple times.
Some designers like to use ChatGPT to boost their prompts - give it a try!
Use Reference Images sparingly to get unique images.
When in doubt, Regenerate!
